Logistics platform AX4: customers can configure time frame controlling by themselves

AXIT AG have enhanced their logistics platform AX4 by a solution on time frame controlling. Since last May customers can use the solution to plan and to smoothly arrange for the coordination of deliveries and pick-ups between forwarder and customer at the ramp. Early coordination between all parties involved allows for a clear reduction of problem cases, staff can be employed in a more efficient way and demurrages can be reduced.

AXIT zeigt anhand von Praxisbeispielen auf, wie unternehmensübergreifende Logistikprozesse mit der richtigen IT erfolgreich gesteuert werden. Dies führt zu besserem Lieferservice, mehr Zuverlässigkeit und Transparenz sowie geringeren Kosten. Mithilfe der Logistikplattform AX4 können IT Lösungen für SCM Projekte per Knopfdruck realisiert werden.

Prof. Raimund Klinkner, chairman of the German Logistics Association Executive Board (BVL) and Dr. Thomas Wimmer Chairman of the Management Board, announced on may 6th, at the general meeting in Hamburg, that the number of BVL-members has increased by four percent to 9,715. The Association recovered well the year of crisis 2009. The members of the Executive Board who are proposed for re-election were confirmed for a further three years. Re-elected were: Dr. Christoph Beumer, Dr. Ottmar Gast, Frauke Heistermann, Prof. Christopher Jahns, Karl-Heinz Lippe and Dr. Johannes Söllner.

(11.03.2010) It was the ninth time that the PraxisForum Logistik of AXIT AG of Frankenthal was held. Last week experts from industry, trade and logistics service met in Frankfurt/M. The speakers made clear how cross-company management of IT processes makes for success for both shippers and logistics providers and how savings potentials and growth in turnover are generated.

 

(02.02.2010) It is the ninth time that AXIT AG´s PraxisForum Logistik is being held. On March 3rd, 2010 well-known experts from industry, trade and logistics services will meet in Frankfurt/M. This year´s focus subjects are Lead Logistics, Green Logistics and Software as a Service.

 (21.01.2010) Although the logistics sector had to register some heavy losses in 2009, AXIT AG of Frankenthal was able to manoeuvre through the challenging year with a steady development of business and ongoing projects. The solution landscape of the logistics platform AX4 was enhanced by investing in further innovations on IT management of logistical processes. With these developments AXIT continued their success story also in 2009, strengthening their customers´ confidence in their performance.
